this is one really late post. since the first day of chinese new year, so im hereby wishing you people out there a really late chinese new year! cause i didnt have the time to blog the past few days, especially not everything one go since i had a few outtings before this which i delayed too.

so my dad decided to bring the family down to Cameron for this chinese new year, since we could drive there and need not waste much money flying back to Kuching. but i wish we did go back though. miss those moments back when playing crackers were what we did when the clock strikes 12 midnight. but Cameron was alright too.

breakfast :D

Started our journey at 630ish. It was so early, i felt like i was a walking zombie when i step foot in my toilet. eyes barely even open but had no choice but to start our journey early if not one day would be wasted off. we I continue my sleep in the car which took us approximately 4 hours plus to get. pretty long I must say, what more sleeping in the car makes me nauseous.

Me, Mummy, Mel, and daddy :)
not everyday do we take family pictures do we. and im glad this picture turned out great. i mean, we all look great and the background looks wonderfull too. and what more its a trip we're on. heee. me loveee :D and this is the tea plantation place where most tourist and bus stops here for a drink and a walk down the tea plantation place to take pictures and just sight seeing.

And after finally getting enough of the tea leaves, we went on looking for our hotel. stayed at the Heritage Hotel for 2 days 1 night. the place i must say was real pleasing. not like those hotels in the  city, but very refreshing and quite and the facilities there weren't that but. compare to the last time i was here, this is a 1000 times better.

we took our rest, slept for an hour or so and then got ourselves ready for our night hunt around Cameron. visited the Strawberry& cactus farm. The place there never changed, looks exactly the same the last time i was there. but the flowers and cactus there can never bore you, with their unique patterns and colours.

And whats a strawberry farm without strawberries :) A row full of strawberries. some barely even fully grown yet. and people were allowed in to pluck their own strawberries. I didnt get too. parents werent interested and for one bucket of strawberry it cost RM25 if i'm not mistaken. but it would have been fun if I got to pluck them.

We visited the other few nurseries along the way. all the pretty flowers they had there. the weather there was freezing cold. to add to it, me being the smartest person on earth, did not bring any long pants on this trip. I forgot how cold Cameron could get, so didnt bring any long pants. but lucky for me i had my long sleeve shirts. yet i was still freezing. the people there must have thought I was nuts to be wearing shorts in the weather that cold. deffinitely learned my lesson!

Stop by some cmall cottage restaurant place. and since the place looked so cute, we decided to stop and take a few shots if not it would go to a waste. since not everyday do we take pictures together as a family.

After all the picture taking, our stomachs were growling for food. especially in this cold weather, getting hungry was the f astest feeling to get. and of course we had to have steamboat! :) whats not having steamboat when you're in cameron.

After dinner, I was feeling a little sick. my head was spinning, body feeling all achy, wasnt feeling as pleasant as I should be. so We headed back to the hotel to call it a day.

the next day, got up really early since I went to bed early. wasnt really fully recover but I did not want to waste my time in bed when i'm on a vacation, especially with the family. it would deffinitely spoile everyone's trip. so we all got dressed up, and it was the first day of chinese new year. first time in my life, do i not have new clothes and that excitement of going on visitings. inside to climb hills and long paths which took my breath away.

our last stop for the trip. some water fall place at the very deep end of a downhill. The scenary there was breath taking but the journey to walk ourselve back up, was a killer. used up so much of my leg energy just to climb back up, deffinitely a good exercise :)

I love family road trips. those are the times where we get to bond and talk about things we never have the chance too with all our busy schedule back at home. a  time where we get a little closer as a family :)
