I'd rate it 7.5/10 I wouldnt say it amazed me that much thought. the part where they were fighting for their lifes in the game seemed a little boring and ridiculous. and te ending was a little disappointment too. but all in all, it was alright. worth watching i would say. I would love to read the trilogy one day, when i have the time and money to read em'.
So after a day out with the sissy, i got back home later that day. packed my stuff and waited for Marcus to pick me up from my crib. Chilled in Lynson's place awhile and we had out for some Pork Slice Chili Pan Mee. Pan mee is becoming my thing lately. I'd just crave for it and have it everyday if i could, without getting sick of it. so yea, it was a good meal but i always burned my mouth with it. 2 and a half spoonful of chili flakes into my bowl. literally sipping on my ice lemon tea throughout my meal. luckily it didnt end me up in the toilet.
the next day, woke up and got dressed to a plate of awesome fat rice ( nasi lemak) the ginormous piece of fried chicken that came with it definitely filled my tummy full. didnt felt like i was eating the normal nasi lemak though, but it was mouth watering. chilled a little back at Lynson's place after that, and got ourselves ready by 430 for Hungry Games organized by CBC youth.
us all gathering around together as they start explaining what hungry game is all about.
and later on we were all separated into our respective groups. the best thing was we got to choose our own group for this game. :)
Michelle, Photographer for the day :)
The games got started and we had to go from one station to another to play our games. it was a mini amazing race like event where we all had to work in groups just to pass to the next station.
there was the lying on the floor forming a long line while one by one we wake up and walk through everyone on top. it was hard for us girls, whom with shorts on. God knows what could have been seen. hah! but we got through, with laughter :)
and the crazily chess like maze. we were separated into two groups and one group had to be blinded folded and the other group had to direct those who were blinded folded to this chess ornaments to collected a piece of paper with a cross/ tick on it. and we had to change sides after the first group was down. so everyone had their chance in crawling on the rough grass blindly. its like the playing the man leading the blind.
and as for this game. it was pretty disgusting. we all were given two tubes of bubble gums. each of us were to have one bubble gum to chew on. and later when we were done, when our gums were ll hard enough. we were to form the tallest tower with our gums. sick eyh? it was amusing see each of us trying to not touch others gums, but at the end we still managed to go through it.
and also this balloon game. using our heads to bounce the balloon up without it touching on the ground while we walked in circles. we had to go a few rounds with different patterns of bringing the balloon around to complete. definitely one of the most tiring and sweaty game among the others.
After all the games, we all got back together and lingered around while waiting for the adults to prepare our food for us. we had BBQ that night. chicken, beef pattys, nuggets, fries, all the delicious scrumcious food! and of course chips! :)
(Y) (Y) my favourite picture.
it was practically an event for us to all just hang out and have our own bonding session with each other rather than just meeting up every friday nights for cell only. some of them even went swimming while the other of us got into a circle and went around guessing on mind-fucking games which some of them learn in CFs. it was really challenging, really causes major headache when i got back home. was rather fun though, trying to figure out the ridiculous answers towards all of it.
weekends are always the best days of the week :)
